The Game Angling Consultancy are Derby based specialist fly fishing and sporting outfitters. We aim to provide a one stop solution to every fly fishers needs.

We were set up and founded because two of our directors were constantly disapointed in what they found available in the midlands and in fact outside of London or Glasgow. We now have a showroom in Derby where we have over two hundred rods on display and over 3,000 items for flytying.

We are main line dealers for Hardy Grey’s, Orvis, Loomis, Temple Fork (we are also the importer and distributor in the UK) Guide, Rio, Turrals, Fulling Mill, Veniard, UTC, Metz, Tiemco, Lamson and many others. We also have a range of rare furs Capes, saddles and hackles. So if its a rod ,a reel, tippet or that illusive piece of material for a particular fly then we will be only too pleased to help if we do not have it we will endeavor to get for you.

With over 100 years of game angling experience between the directors of the company, we guarantee that all the fly fishing and fly tying equipment will be recommended only after meeting the most stringent of tests.

We want to give you the edge and help increase the enjoyment that you get from a days fishing, whether its on the Cuban Salt Flats, a Scottish salmon river or a traditional southern chalk stream we will be able to supply and or advise you acordingly.

Our Show Room opening hours are Mon to Friday 10:30am untill 6:00pm and on Saturdays 9:30am untill 1:30pm. Come and stop by, enjoy  complimentary coffee and talk fishing beside the fire place with fishermen.
