The Game Angling Consultancy are Derby based specialist fly fishing and sporting outfitters. We aim to provide a one stop solution to every fly fishers needs.
We were set up and founded because two of our directors were constantly disappointed in what they found available in the Midlands and in fact outside of London or Glasgow. We now have a showroom in Derby where we have well over three hundred rods on display and over 10,500 items for fly tying. Our intention is to be the kind of place where fisherman will want to come, to swap ideas and information rather than just somewhere to shop. Our new clothing room is a great success and we are pleased to say we now stock 15 different patterns of waders, including waders and boots specifically tailored for ladies plus a wide selection of wading jackets wading boots, waterproof clothing and other clothing to serve every need from our own winter climate up to every thing you may need to fish the Cuban Salt Flats.

We have a HUGE range of rare furs capes, saddles and hackles which is constantly being udated & added too.
So if its a rod, a reel, tippet or that illusive piece of material for a particular fly then we will be only too pleased to help & if we do not have it we will endeavor to get for you. We are The One Stop Centre for the dedicated fly fisher & fly tyer in England. Our product range is constantly on review and indeed is growing in order to provide the level of service and satisfaction demanded by both our regular customers and Tony.
With over 100 years of game angling experience between the directors of the company we believe we may be unique as we guarantee that all the fly fishing and fly tying equipment will be recommended only after meeting our stringent of tests, that we our-selves subject all the products too. We take immense pride in the quality and diversity of the products we stock, however we are constantly listening to and learning from our customers as to what they want, so even if its not a regular stock item that you require we usually can source it for you within 48 hours and are only too pleased to do so.
We want & aim to give you the edge and help increase the enjoyment that you get from a days fishing, whether its on the Cuban Salt Flats, a Scottish salmon river or a traditional southern chalk stream we will be able to supply and or advise you accordingly.
Our Show Room opening hours are Monday to Friday 9:30am until 5:30pm and on Saturdays 9:30am until 4:00pm. Come and stop by, enjoy complimentary coffee and talk fishing beside the fire place and catch up with the latest gossip with real fishermen.
